Topic:

Our primary focus is to provide answers to your questions about the Community Wildfire Defense Grant (CWDG). Did you know there are grant opportunities for at-risk Tribes, non-profits such as homeowners associations, and local governments that represent communities that are located in high wildfire hazard areas? If awarded, communities could obtain $250,000 for creating a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP), 10 million for a project described within a CWPP that is less than 10 years old, a total of federal funding through the CWDG process could result in $250,000 for the second round that is intended for planning purposes.

Leading this webinar will be experts from the Living With Fire program, alongside CWDG Coordinator Donald Lovejoy. Lovejoy plays a key role in overseeing grant applications and processes in partnership with the USDA. He'll be available throughout the webinar to address your queries. 

Agenda:

We'll commence with a brief introduction to set the stage. Following that, we'll delve into answering pre-selected questions about the CWDG. We'll also share valuable insights and tips related to the application process. But here's where your participation is vital – we encourage you to prepare your own questions in advance. We've set aside dedicated time at the end for an open Q&A session.
